National Addiction Awareness Week is this week, November 16–22, 2025.
This year’s theme is Anchoring Hope. Addiction is a health issue, not a choice, and recovery is possible with support, understanding, and compassion.

Let’s break the stigma, spread awareness, and remind those impacted that they are not alone.

National Stress Awareness Day 👉 Wednesday, November 5th, 2025

A little stress is a normal part of life — it can even help motivate us. But when stress becomes chronic or overwhelming, it can take a toll on both our body and mind. You don’t have to carry that weight alone.

Take a moment today to pause, breathe, and check in with yourself. Talk to someone you trust — a friend, family member, or mental health professional. Sharing how you feel is one of the most powerful ways to start feeling better. 💬

If you’re struggling, help is always available:
📞 988 Su***de Crisis Helpline – Call or text 988
📞 Mental Health & Addictions Crisis Line (NS) – 1-888-429-8167
📞 Kids Help Phone – 1-800-668-6868 or text 686868

Let’s keep reminding ourselves and each other: It’s okay to ask for help. 💚

We want to take a moment to appreciate the hard work and time these two (and their helpers) have put into honoring the memory of Terry Dixon.
This is the fifth year Andy and Jessica Lewis have held a golf tournament at Brookfield Golf and Country Club in memory of Terry (Tee-off for Terry). Each year they generously donate the funds raised to our branch.
This year's donation has brought their total to $25000!! Thank you to every person that has supported this event. You've truly made a difference ♥️

🌍 World Mental Health Day — October 10, 2025 💚

Today we join the global community in recognizing mental health as a cornerstone of well-being for all — especially during times of crisis and uncertainty. This year’s theme is “Access to Services – Mental Health in Humanitarian Emergencies”, emphasizing that in moments of upheaval, access to mental health care can save lives.

We believe that mental health care should be accessible, inclusive, and rooted in compassion. Today, let’s stand together in remembrance, support, and action.

If this day raises difficult feelings, know that help is just a call away:
