Now living at Shortts Lake with her husband and three sons
Education:
🎓 BSc in Kinesiology – Dalhousie University, 1997
🎓 BSc in Physiotherapy – Queen’s University, 2001
Professional Background:
🩺 Ainsley has over two decades of physiotherapy experience, having worked in both private practice and hospital settings in Truro, including Colchester Regional Hospital and the Colchester East Hants Health Centre.
💼 She co-founded Physio One with Craig White in 2010.
🌟 Her practice includes orthopedic, pediatric, geriatric, and long-term care patients, including work at Wynn Park Villa.
🧠 Ainsley is Complete Concussion Management certified, and has advanced training in:
• McKenzie Method (Parts A & B)
• Acupuncture (Levels I, II & Advanced Applications)
• Athletic Taping
She is also a Preceptor for Dalhousie University Physiotherapy Students and is highly experienced with WCB and motor vehicle injury clients, as well as pediatric physiotherapy.
Community Involvement:
🏒 Ainsley has a strong passion for volunteering. She has:
• Provided long-time coverage for the Truro U15 Major Hockey Club
• Volunteered with multiple sports events across Colchester County (hockey, basketball, rugby, football, volleyball & soccer)
• Served on the medical team at Ski Wentworth during the Winter Canada Games
• Provided rugby coverage for Royal Military College (1998–2000)
Outside the Clinic:
⛷️ Ainsley stays active through hiking, running, fitness classes, weightlifting, tennis, pickleball, skiing, golfing, and travel.
