🏃‍♀️ Sports Injuries Q&A 🏃‍♂️

Q: Should I rest or move after a sports injury?
A: It’s a common question! While rest is important in the very early stages—especially if there’s swelling or severe pain—too much rest can actually slow recovery. Early, gentle movement is often encouraged because it helps improve circulation, reduce stiffness, and maintain strength around the injured area.

That said, every injury is different. The type, location, and severity of the injury will determine the right balance between rest and movement. That’s where a physiotherapist comes in. At Physio One, we’ll assess your injury and guide you through safe exercises and treatments that promote healing, restore mobility, and help you get back to your activities as quickly and safely as possible.

✨ Don’t guess—let us help you recover the right way.
