I have been keeping this course somewhat quite over the last couple of months, but I am happy to announce that I have completed the third and final course needed to be fully certified as a Manual Lymphatic Drainage therapist!

ANNOUNCEMENT!
Happy Summer!

The first announcement is that I will be away on vacation from July 17th to August 1st. At this time, if you want to book an appointment, please book online at www.centralnovamassage.ca. You can also email me at Centralnovamassage@gmail.com. I won't be checking my email until I get back from vacation. Once I am back, I will reply ASAP.

The second announcement is that, as of August 1st, there will be a change in my pricing. I rarely raise my prices, and I am now well below the average cost for massage therapy both locally and provincially. This increase will put me closer to par with my colleagues.

Tax time is around the corner again.
This is your friendly reminder that you CANNOT claim massage therapy as a medical expense in Nova Scotia. I repeat, you CANNOT use your massage therapy receipts at tax time.

I have some exciting news!!!

I have been working as a massage therapist for ten years now. Things have been fantastic and I have been blessed enough to have worked with some incredible people. A number of new skills and long courses later and I love my occupation as much as ever.
Part of what I love most about working for myself is the time that I can give each person. Scheduling an extra half hour between each of you has allowed us the time to go through a thorough assessment every time I see you. It's important that I know as much as possible so that we can put together a treatment plan that gets you back out and doing what you love quickly.
That being said, it is time to make some changes to my business model. After a long period of consideration and thought, I will be making a slight increase to my prices. I feel as though this is necessary in order to keep up with inflation and work costs. This change will be taking place as of March 1st/2022. New pricing will go as follows:

Appointment Type Former Cost Cost as of March 1st
30 minute massage 50$ 55$
45 minute massage 70$ 75$
60 minute massage 90$ 95$
90 minute treatment 115$ 125$

This pricing will, as always, include any additions to your treatment (i.e. cupping, manual lymph drainage, etc).
