Mindset changing journal prompt for this week: “The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears and the sea. ~Isak Dinesen”
✍🏼
Take me to the water. Take me to the where my mind calms and my heart rate lowers. Coined by Dr W.J. Nichols, the “Blue Mind Theory” essentially suggests that we have an innate sense around water, not unlike biophilia, that can create a sense of calm and enhance our mental and physical wellbeing.
Water surrounds us. To be at its shores some of us have to go far, some just out our doorstep. This week, make a to-do list of all the bodies of water you’ll visit soon. Better yet, go find some. Moving water is best but not necessary. A small pond will do. Sit. Spend at least 20 minutes engaging your senses.
Each week a new prompt will be available to ponder and journal on.

Mindset changing journal prompt for this week: “What joy can I find in each day and not put off for another?”
✍🏼
Long weekends. The anticipation of it. The planned holiday. The joy you’ll have then! What about today? What joys are there in the day to day that we overlook?
Right now there is so much joy out in nature:
The peeking tulips
The opening crocus
Budding trees
Take a mindful moment during the every day to notice the tiny bits of joy around you. Breathe it in.
Each week a new prompt will be available to ponder and journal on.

Mindset changing journal prompt for this week: “What seeds of change do I want to plant in my life?”
✍🏼
Spring is here (sort of) in the northern hemisphere. You’ve seen the sun - for a moment - and it was glorious! It makes you hopeful and excited for the growth to come. Maybe you’re planning a garden…don’t forget yourself too.
This week, take some time to plan the garden of your mind. What seeds to sow. What rows to tend. What do you want to harvest? All the Your thoughts are powerful. Plant good ones.
Each week a new prompt will be available to ponder and journal on.

Mindset changing journal prompt for this week: “What free resources do I have available when I need a little help?”
✍🏼
Life is getting expensive. Getting through the day doesn’t have to be. There are so many healing resources available when life gets to you. Nature has lots of options as it helps to regulate our emotions through soothing and calming (Richardson, et al, 2016), and it’s free!
This week, I invite you to take stock of the free resources you have and try a few out.
To build resilience, repeat as needed!
Each week a new prompt will be available to ponder and journal on.
