Kenneth Eugene Belch

September 1978
Ken Belch sold to Rose&Terry Dellar. Kenneth Eugene Belch (1908-1983), a native of Kingston, moved to Tweed with his wife Jen and purchased 'Wilson's Drug Store' in 1938. In 1957 they incorporated into their store the wee building on the south side. Originally this had been the do

ctor's office, later the law offices of Ivan Cocoran then Bernard Collins, and lastly the Goslin Jewellers Store. Facing declining health, Ken sold the store in September 1978 to Rose and Terry Dellar who maintained the Belch's Drug Store title for some time. Rose (1951-2020) and Terry Dellar greatly expanded and renovated the building providing a most commendable facility for the community. People have many fond memories of their helpful and friendly services in the store and within the community. was sold to Magdy Kamar on March 31 2022 who looks forward to being apart of the Tweed Community.
