Hey Everyone! Sorry about being absent for the past while. My account was hacked back in August, and subsequently locked by Facebook. I, just a few minutes ago was able to get the account unlocked.

Nice to get back in the shed to make things again! Was asked to make a display case for 49 Quick Stop. It was liked enough for them to ask for a matching one for the other side of the counter. Both were made with clear Lexan on the customer side. Hopefully this is the start to a busy summer of work. 😊

Hello everyone! Apologies for not being very active this year. Okay, not active at all. When the weather started getting nice enough to get some projects underway, the wind storm in May took my canvass shelter for outside working.

I was taken on a short vacation in the beginning of June and then the heat was stifling. THEN, at the end of June I went into the hospital with chest pain. Well, they kept me there and on July 20th, I had heart and bypass surgery. So, suffice it to say, I am looking forward to spring (yes, already), so that I can get the backlogged projects kickstarted.

Got a start on another overdue project. A noodle board for my nephew. Making from reclaimed barn board. These photos show making smooth straight edges to work with. Use the attached 2x4 as a straight edge and cut the other edge with the table saw.

One was ordered and I made two more. Small cutting boards all ready to go for Christmas. They are 12” long, with tops about 8” across. Made with live edges in place.

Finally able to spend at least some time in the shed! Company of Lucy for a few minutes as I make a few trinket boxes for a friend’s craft/Christmas shop. Hopefully this is a start to getting some stuff done before it’s too cold to work in the shed.

Sadly, as the weather became more pleasant to be working out in the shed and even to put up the outdoor work area, I went down with an infection. I am on the mend and and hope to be back to the shop in the near future. I swear, if you listen closely, you can hear my power tools whimpering. So with that being said, I hope to have a new batch of charcuterie boards and such by the end of the month. And "M", I haven't forgotten about your potato bin.
