Step into B Hope’s art therapy space at Good Medicine Wellness, a calm and creative environment designed to nurture self-compassion, curiosity, and connection.

B (she/they) weaves together neuroscience, creativity, and spirit to support healing of the mind, body, and heart. Their approach is anti-oppressive, trauma informed, q***r affirming, and decolonizing, rooted in both Western and Indigenous perspectives.

Through artmaking, B helps clients explore identity, grief, relationships, and self-understanding while creating space to reconnect with community, ancestors, and their own inner wisdom.

✨ Introducing Good Medicine Wellness Foundation ✨

We are honoured to share that the Good Medicine Wellness Foundation has been created as the non-profit arm of Good Medicine Wellness. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to support the healing of Indigenous peoples and communities.

Through this foundation, we are working to:
🌿 Offer cultural workshops and teaching circles to strengthen identity and connection.
🤝 Create healing circles that provide safe spaces for community, storytelling, and growth.
💛 Provide funding for Indigenous peoples who cannot access therapy through insurance, ensuring no one is turned away from the support they deserve.

This is just the beginning. With your support, we hope to raise funds to expand these programs and make healing accessible to all who need it.

Every contribution — big or small — helps us continue this work of cultural restoration, mental health support, and community care.

On Orange Shirt Day, we wear orange to honour Phyllis Webstad’s story and the experiences of every child who attended residential schools.

When Phyllis was just six years old, her grandmother bought her a brand-new orange shirt for her first day at Mission school. But when she arrived, the shirt was taken from her and she never saw it again. That shirt came to symbolize the loss of culture, identity, and love that so many children endured in residential schools.

🧡 Today, the orange shirt reminds us that every child matters. Those who survived, those who did not return home, and all who continue to carry this legacy.

Hosted by B Hope (RP) and Natasha Kupar RSW, this experience blends art therapy with cultural connections, exploring relationships not only with others but also with yourself. Each week will build on the last, creating a meaningful journey together.

Wow! So grateful to my colleagues, Natasha Kupar and B Hope for nominating me!! So grateful to be named one of Bay of Quinte’s Top 40 Under 40! Very grateful to be acknowledged in this way by the community as well. Nyá:wen!! 🎉💜

THE WINNERS ARE IN! 🎉

After over 200 nominations, say hello to the doers and difference-makers powering the Bay of Quinte right now—building, mentoring, hiring, creating, and lifting others as they go. They represent the energy, generosity, and grit pushing the BoQ forward. Join us in celebrating this year’s winners!

PS-We planned for 40, but one group submission and a couple of ties later, we landed at 44.

HUGE thanks to everyone who put their name (or a deserving someone else’s) forward for the very first 40 UNDER 40 in the Bay of Quinte. You showed up in a big way—stories of leadership, community spirit, and hustle that make this region shine.

To celebrate, we are throwing a party on September 25, 2025, at Signal Brewery!!
