Big Horn Health Services invites all community members to join the Big Horn Community: Mental Health & Opioid Addictions Awareness Gathering on October 9–10, 2025 at the Best Western Premier, Calgary NE

This 1.5-day event will bring together Elders, speakers, and community members to share knowledge, discuss impacts, and explore healing from an Indigenous perspective. Sessions include presentations, discussions, and community models focused on awareness, prevention, and recovery.

Fall and Winter Good Food Box Schedule- a couple of things to note:
- Thanksgiving GFB is Oct 1st and it will be a 3 week gap until next GFB on Oct 22. This is due to the Health Centre closure on Oct 9-10. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- There will be another 3 week gap between the Dec 17th GFB and Jan 7th GFB- however we will have 3 GFB days in January to restock your cupboards after the holidays.

Big Horn Health Services welcomes all Big Horn Community members to register and join us for the Big Horn Community: Mental Health & Opioid Addictions Awareness Gathering, October 9–10, 2025 at the Best Western Premier Calgary Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre in Calgary, Alberta!

This 1.5-day conference will bring together the Big Horn Community, Elders, invited speakers, and both clinical and non-clinical staff to share knowledge and discuss the impacts of opioid addiction, recovery, mental health, and community response. The gathering will feature presentations, facilitated discussions, and community models focused on awareness, prevention, and healing from an indigenous perspective.

We are happy to announce Optometry and Eye Services now available in the community!

Viewpoint Eye Care, from Canmore (also the clinic that provides services at Stoney Health Services) will be at Ta Otha Wednesday September 24th and Thursday the 25th!

Walk-ins and appointments available, and all ages welcome!
