Matthew Cragg - Inner Diamond Uniting The Pathways for Ancient Wisdom with Modern Coaching Frameworks for important, everyday living. Awareness (what you think and how you feel)

The right coach + the right process = efficient and effective results

By encompassing a genuinely holistic perspective and approach for your life, my focus is on helping you get results in any or all of 3 key areas (order is dependent on the client and what's needed):

1. Activity (how you move your body, formally and informally)
3. Nutrition (what you consume for food and xrink)

I respect who you are and what you want. While I may not always tell you what you want to hear, if we determine there's a mutual fit for your progress, I'll be on your "Results Team". Group coaching and workshops are available upon request. Email or message for details. My background starts with physical health and performance which then led quickly into premium physical preparation and coaching. While there, I explored the realm of integrative living which opened doors to include genuine holistic and integrative approach to living with peace, vision, and freedom. You're welcome to ask questions and share content as it relates to your experience with the information.

I just sent out the Tips of Insight email newsletter on the topic of Goals.

If you're on the list, check your inbox or filtered junk mail folder. If you're not on the list and want to be, sign up here https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/su/QGH9FR2

Excerpt:

"Goals are simply intended outcomes, from what to have for dinner to where you want to end up in life. Giving yourself permission to want an outcome increases the chances of experiencing it!"

I saw the image on the left online and wanted to offer some thoughts.

I think it's great that we're engaging with the conversation about where to direct our energy, however I find this messaging is often used to distract from our own internal work and responsibilities.

One of my focal points is to include ourselves in the "difficult people" conversation if we are indeed a part of the problem. This is done to help us have more agency with our relationships (self and others).

If "they're" a part of the problem for us, where are WE a part of the problem of others, which means we're also a part of the solution!

If you find yourself directing negative thoughts and energy at yourself with these ideas, you can ask yourself...

"I might not be able to do everything, but I CAN do something. What's one healthy thing I can start doing right now?"

Said with respect and encouragement.

The REGAL meditation series is continuing for another round!

For another 10 weeks, starting Thursday, November 28th and ending on January 30th, 2025, I will be hosting a free 30-minute online guided meditation and opportunity for self-reflection. I've listed some feedback in the comments below. If you've already attended some of the sessions and would like to share your reflections, experiences, etc for others, you're welcome to do so.

See below for the topics and dates associated with them.

1. Relaxation (November 28th, January 2nd, 2025)
2. Excitement and Enthusiasm (December 5th, January 9th)
3. Gratitude (December 12th, January 16th)
4. Appreciation and Wonder (December 19th , January 23rd)
5. Love (December 26th, January 30th, 2025)

You can attend any or all of them. During each session, you will be invited to reflect on, think about, and/or write about the topic of the week during that half hour.

Your camera isn’t required to be on, nor is your mic. However, please ensure you are muted so any background noise doesn’t interfere with someone else’s experience.

When you register, again, which is free, you'll receive a Zoom link you can use for any and all of the sessions you attend.

These sessions serve simply as an opportunity for you to take these moments once a week to reflect on and be present. There isn't any homework. If you choose to practice taking a moment to reflect on the topics between the weeks, you're welcome to, but it's not required.

You will receive a weekly email reminder for these 10 sessions at the email address you registered with. You will not receive any other emails unless you reach out to request more.

See you soon!

Remember not to be so hard on yourself all of the time.

For me, the mind here refers to the intellect, not the physical brain. Understanding often comes after emotional resolution. Yes, resolution CAN come without needing to intellectualize it. Ever notice that you can feel and think differently about a situation or person after a good meal, a restful sleep, laughing, or even simply breathing differently. While talking it out can be most helpful, I'm a fan of it for many situations, it's not the only way and can be problematic when we have a tendency to 'spin' or ruminate without guided direction.

On the quest of self-discovery, remember to be in the habit of finding, not just searching. It's easy to forget why we started on this quest of personal understanding and healing. On this road of acquiring or accumulating experiences and things, many of us have lost sight of the person we're becoming, only to find out years later, as we look back on our life and who we are in this moment, that we're not so proud of what we've done or who we've become. In that moment, tremendous and powerful understanding and healing can take place. Still, it requires a willingness to be wrong about life and to allow ourselves to change. We've already demonstrated that we can and have changed; why not do it with intention?

Here are 3 of the questions that I keep in mind or share with clients, whether it's in a private session or a group:

1. What are you hoping to find as you embark on this journey of self-exploration and understanding?

2. What are you going to do when you find it?

3. How willing are you to discover other parts and aspects of yourself that may be inconvenient and delightfully reassuring that you’re on the right path?

These questions are not about passing or failing. They are about embarking on a journey of self-exploration, a quest with many twists and turns, rest stops, moments of clear vision, and moments of confused chaos. But what would an exploration be without all that?

This is an adventure, and you will emerge as a different person, someone who's calling to you in your heart to become.

This is what happens if you argue with yourself only using your intellect. Using the other aspects of our perceptive technologies (emotions, feelings, intuition/healed gut response, and more), will get you to a place of deeper understanding from a perspective void of needing to argue a position. It just notices.

This is what we do in guided self reflection by changing our 'state'. Guiding clients through a process so they perceive more truth than they were perceiving changes the rules of the game that had them stuck until that point. Truth isn't hidden from us, it's simply found in another way.
