WOW! Donna Gerlinger, one of our Consultants in Brandon, Manitoba has made a truly delicious gourmet burger with our Returning Favourite Blooming Onion Horseradish Dip! This is her winning recipe...
Smoked Applewood Horseradish Burgers
• 2.2 lbs. (1 kg) ground beef
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup Panko crumbs
• 1 Tbsp. Applewood Chipotle Rub & Seasoning
• 1 Tbsp. Garlic Pepper with a Twist of Lime
• ½ cup Sweet & Spicy Brown Sugar Bourbon Sauce
• 2 Tbsp. Blooming Onion Horseradish Dip
• Smoked Gouda
Mix all ingredients except the cheese together and form burger patties. Let sit at room temp for an hour.
I recommend using a smoker, bring the temperature up to 275°F,
place patties in the smoker for three hours, add the smoked Gouda cheese on top. Finish the burgers on a regular gas BBQ or in the oven for another 10-15 minutes. Let rest for 10-15 minutes.
If you don’t have a smoker, cook burgers as you normally would.
Top with more Sweet & Spicy Brown Sugar Bourbon Sauce, Blooming Onion Horseradish Dip, onions, peppers, tomatoes, etc... (as desired).

An easy way to season cream cheese for bagels etc. Split a container of plain spreadable cream cheese in half. Add a Tbsp of you favourite Sunset Gourmet seasoning & stir. Put in container with a tight fitting lid & enjoy.

I am finally home after a visit to hospital at 3am and officially on a strict bed rest and cannot do anything.

Noah is doing great and that is all that matters.

All this means for my businesses is that things will run a bit slower. I will have to wait for people to unpack orders for me and deliver them for me. Please be patient with me. If someone is willing to do deliveries for me I will pay you to do so.
