~~~~~~~~💢I AM SPECIAL 💯~~~~~~~~
💢I am one of a kind. Unique.
💢I choose to be smart.
💢I use tools around me to learn about my recovery
💢I am strong and I persevere.
💢I work hard to turn my weaknesses into strengths.
💢I am proud of my accomplishments.
These are NOT Clichés, they are simply perfect adages ❤️‍🩹
(Adages are short sayings that express universal truths)
This phrase encourages focusing on the present moment and staying sober for just 24 hours, rather than worrying about the past or future.
"Let Go and Let God":
This slogan suggests surrendering to a higher power, whether a spiritual belief system or a universal source, and trusting the process of recovery.
"This Too Shall Pass":
This quote reminds individuals that difficult times will eventually end, and that good times will come again.
"I Am an Alcoholic":
Admitting to having a problem with alcohol is a crucial step in recovery.
"Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes":
This emphasizes the importance of actively working towards change and sticking to goals.
"Easy Does It":
This slogan encourages taking things one step at a time and not rushing the recovery process.
"First Things First":
This reminds people to prioritize the most important aspects of recovery, such as attending meetings and practicing the 12 steps.
"Keep It Simple":
This slogan encourages focusing on the basics of recovery and avoiding unnecessary complexity.
"Live and Let Live":
This emphasizes the importance of respecting others' choices and boundaries.
"The Program Works If You Work It":
This highlights the importance of actively participating in the AA program and following the 12 steps.
"Progress Not Perfection":
This emphasizes that recovery is a journey, and setbacks are normal, so focusing on progress rather than perfection is important.
"You're Only as Sick as Your Secrets":
This reminds people that honesty and vulnerability are key to recovery.
"You Are Not Alone":
This provides a sense of community and belonging, reminding individuals that they are not struggling alone.
