The Amazing Meditation for Healing Body and Mind:
Buddhist Meditation Class at The Spire

Tonight, we will learn how to apply the meditation known as Taking and Giving to our own personal health problems. This meditation has been used for over 2,000 years as a powerful healing technique to help overcome obstacles and sicknesses of body and mind. Not only is this meditation legendary for its physical healing properties, it is also a powerful method for healing painful mental tendencies such as insecurity, anger and hurt.

Taking and Giving practice gives rise to innumerable benefits, including boosting positive energy, purifying the mind, and in particular enabling us to deal skillfully and peacefully with our daily challenges. With Guest Teacher Bill Spurrell.

These classes are suitable for both beginners and more experienced meditators. Classes are self-contained, so feel free to drop in at any point in the series. Everyone is welcome!

Classes are at The Spire (82 Sydenham St. inside the Sydenham St. United Church), Rm. 205, second floor.

INTENSIVE TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM 2025 - GROUP PHOTO

The first Temple for World Peace welcomed 250 Teachers. Every day for three weeks, they had the joy of increasing their wisdom and practice of Dharma with Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab, retired General Spiritual Director of the NKT-IKBU.

The programme will conclude on 22 July with the final exam.
