This morning at 10:00am, we have Top 10: Body Language, where we'll take a look at this often forgotten part of communication, and learn some pointers for aligning it with our intentions.

This afternoon at 1:30pm, we have Conflict Resolution: the sister workshop to Conflict Management. We'll explore learn step-by-step approaches to assist in the effective and responsible resolving of conflict.

The good news is, for those job seekers that targeted their job search towards work that is a good fit; some motivation will be built into their job. This is because seeking employment that is aligned with personal values, interests, and aptitudes makes work more sustainable and enjoyable.

Good morning.

This morning at 10:00am, we have Top 10: A Mindful Minute where we'll learn about quick and accessible ways to incorporate practicing mindfulness for a few minutes here and there throughout your days. This approach builds strong and positive associations with mindfulness and meditation, ensuring it is there for us in a helpful way when we need this wellness tool in moments of upset, duress, and/or dysregulation. This workshop includes guided meditation practice.

Happy Fri-yay!

First up today at 10:00am, is Top 10: Back at Work Basics where we'll take a look at how to make a return to work a smoother, and more sustainable change. These tips can also be applied to entering the workforce for the first time.

Then at 1:30pm we have Top 10: S.M.A.R.T. Stop, which explains how to use the S.M.A.R.T. mnemonic to develop a plan to stop habits and behaviours that no longer serve us. Using this popular approach makes it much more likely that we will build new systems and skills that support us to develop more effective habits that in turn assist us in reaching our goals.

Hello folks.

This afternoon at 1:30pm for Coffee Club, we're having a workshop from our Indigenous Wellness Series. We'll take a nature walk to Fort Rouge Park on River Avenue, keeping our eyes out for suitable sticks. Once we return from our walk, we'll make talking sticks and learn about First Nation General Protocol for use. This simple craft has deep meaning and can help encourage self-discipline and patience while facilitating active listening and respectful conversations.

This morning at 10:00am, we have Top 10: Protecting Your Mental Health that is chock full of recommendations for approaches and resources to protect and support mental health.

This afternoon at 1:30pm, is Conflict Management, where we'll take a look at some common misconceptions about conflict, how these misconceptions inform our beliefs about it, and how the result of conflicts then reinforce those beliefs. Then we'll explore some effective ways to manage conflict for responsible resolution that develops transferable skills and deepens connections.
