Today, we proudly celebrated a historic milestone — our 80th Annual General Meeting — honouring eight remarkable decades of leadership, innovation, and unwavering commitment to our community.

We’re honoured to share a remarkable donation from the Maltese-Canadian Society of Toronto presented to President and CEO, Connie Dejak and our Foundation— $312,625.25 in support of the Mary C. Galea Floor at Runnymede Long Term Care . 🇲🇹🇨🇦

This will be Canada’s first long-term care floor dedicated to the Maltese community, thoughtfully designed to reflect and celebrate Maltese culture, language, and traditions.

Located in the heart of Toronto’s Little Malta, Runnymede is proud to serve one of the largest Maltese populations in Canada. This generous contribution helps us ensure that our care not only supports residents’ health, but also honours their heritage.

Thank you to the Maltese-Canadian Society of Toronto for helping us build a space that truly feels like home.

Last week, we were honoured to be included in the Ontario 2025 Budget to support the development of the Runnymede Healthcare Centre’s Post-Traumatic Stress Injury (PTSI) Centre of Excellence — a two-facility project dedicated to expanding access to mental health and rehabilitation care for Ontario’s First Responders and Frontline Healthcare Workers.

A heartfelt thank you to Premier Doug Ford and the Government of Ontario for recognizing the urgent need to support those who protect and serve our communities.
