It’s time to share that I will retire from my physiotherapy practise on September 1st, 2021. I am so grateful for the many people I have known professionally and who have entrusted me with their health care. Our practise opened in Port Alberni in 1994, and added the Qualicum Beach location in 2019. Previous patients may continue to email: lynn.barton@shawcable.com.

At Pacific Rim Physiotherapy our re-opening begins gradually, on June 1st.
Lynn and Darrell will resume in-person appointments this week, in Port Alberni and Qualicum. To allow for safe resumption of physiotherapy, physical distancing practises, hand hygiene, respiratory hygiene and frequent cleaning and disinfection are implemented. At this time, we cannot accommodate “drop-in” visits and use of our gym exercise area. Yoga classes are postponed. We will continue to supplement in-person physiotherapy care with virtual physiotherapy ( by phone, and videoconference) as a safe and effective option for our patients whenever possible. Our clinic continues to have a supply of our favorite self-care tools for home exercise and pain relief for you. at Pacific Rim Physiotherapy we look forward to again welcoming you to in-person Physio visits. This may occur on,or after May 19th, as our services are included in Phase 2 of the provincial re-opening plan. We continue to receive direction from the Provincial Health Officer and from our professional organizations. Until May 19th, and after re-opening we are happy to provide you with Virtual Care ( telephone, and videoconference visits).
