Karen Freeman, Massage Therapist Karen Freeman is the owner/operator of Karen Freeman, RMT. She holds bachelor degrees in general studies and in health sciences.

Karen graduated from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy, Halifax Campus with a 2200-hour Diploma in Massage Therapy (Honours). Specialities includes: general swedish massage; trigger point release; cupping; Reiki, Ashiatsu; Gua Sha therapy; fascial release therapy; deep tissue massage; hot/cold stone massage; pregnancy massage; infant massage; and more. She is the mom of two children and she has clinical experience treating adults and children with various physical and psychological diagnoses including: strains; sprains; postural dysfunction; anxiety; post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD); Tourette's syndrome; autism spectrum disorder (ASD); attention deficit & hyperactivity disorder (ADHD); and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). Respect for all persons is a priority in the clinic. Please feel free to discuss any required accommodations before your appointment. Karen is a member in good standing with the Massage Therapists' Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS) and is authorized to direct bill to most insurance companies. She is also a veterans affairs and RCMP authorized direct billing provider. **A dr's note may be required.
