Access Dental Care provides a unique and convenient service where we deliver a wide range of dental services comfortably from the location of your choice. Fear, limited finances and lack of time are common barriers to accessing regular dental care. Our goal is to break down these barriers and improve access to dental services. We have fully portable equipment including foldable client and operator

chairs, ultrasonic and hand scalers, and a portable operating unit equipped with water, air, and suction that runs on a small compressor. Regular dental hygiene visits are an important part of total health. Several recent studies have found that gum disease is linked with an increased risk for a variety of other serious health concerns, including:
* heart disease
* stroke
* premature births and low birth weight babies
* pneumonia and other respiratory diseases
* diabetes

The cost of dental hygiene services offered are based on the Recommended Dental Hygiene Guide. These fees are generally 20-30% lower than the Ontario Dentists' Fee Guide. For more information or to book an appointment, please call or email.

Amazing how even with all this PPE, it's still possible to connect with children. This little man made my day and melted my heart with all his beautiful artwork. My favorite is the heart holding a heart balloon 🎈 ❤😍🥰❤

Its so important to take care of your dog's teeth too! So here is how my attempt went... I feel I owe an apology to a lot of moms out there whom I've asked to brush their kids teeth for them. The struggle is real!

We are still open and available to serve your unique dental needs.

The Ontario Government announced new restrictions in various regions of the province beginning Monday, November 23, 2020 at 12:01 a.m. These restrictions include moving the regions of Toronto and Peel into Lockdown (maximum measures) status. You can find the status of all regions in Ontario here: https://www.ontario.ca/page/covid-19-response-framework-keeping-ontario-safe-and-open

The current restrictions do not directly impact the provision of health services including the ability of dental hygienists to provide client care. The CDHO is monitoring the situation closely and updates will be provided regarding any new measures or directives that will impact the provision of dental hygiene care as they become available.

Make sure not to forget to take good care of your teeth during this time. It may still be a while before dental providers can start seeing you again. Happy brushing and flossing!

Regrettably, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we contine to remain closed until it is safe to resume delivery of care. We are still available for consult via phone and email. We are encouraging everyone to maintain physical distance in public and are hoping for the safety of all.

The CDHO has advised dental hygienists not to provide dental hygiene services. In a time of pandemic, these are not seen as essential services. The CDHO cannot force offices to close but we are strongly recommending that dental hygienists do not provide services.

This is because:

Patients/clients should minimize their exposure to others, including reception areas, public transit, elevators, etc.

People who carry the virus may not know that they are infected or exhibit symptoms.

While infection prevention and control protocols used by dental hygienists are sufficient to protect their clients and themselves, the protective supplies (PPE) needed are in high demand and supplies are dwindling.

It is socially responsible to preserve PPE for medical professionals and hospitals to care for those who require urgent medical attention.

We ask that dental hygiene clients respect our advice to dental hygienists and understand why we have taken this approach. Your health and safety are of the utmost importance and informs every decision made by the CDHO.
