Working For More Health Equity Funding Research And Advancing Equity Because Health Belongs to Everyone. Formerly known as Working for Men's Health.

Working For More Health Equity is an organization dedicated to supporting and uplifting equitable health. Women for Men's health primary goal is to shift men's behaviors towards preventing treatable disease and maintaining good health. We aim to provide men with the information and resources that will enable them to make good health care choices and ensure they have easy access to these resources and medical professionals.

Physical activity is shown to help reduce long-term healthcare costs and chronic disease disparities. If people have equitable access to physical activity, the health gap can be reduced!

Here are some ideas that can help:

1. Break the Access Barrier: Low-cost or free fitness programs can reduce disparities in physical health outcomes, especially in low-income communities.

2. Create Safe Spaces to Move: Safe, inclusive public spaces like parks, walking trails, and community gyms help make access to exercise more equitable.

3. Ensure Adaptive Fitness for All Bodies: Adaptive exercise options like seated workouts, adaptive sports leagues, or specialized equipment ensure that all bodies can benefit from movement.

4. Encourage Cultural Inclusion in Fitness: Culturally relevant movement can boost participation among diverse communities.
