Many of us have great intentions when we cancel our gym memberships in the hopes we'll opt for workouts in the sun, then fall short unintentionally. Here are a few ways to ensure you get the same great workouts even if you switch up your routine:

đŸ’Ș Choose an outdoor activity that matches the intensity of your gym workouts.

đŸ’Ș Whether it’s rucking (walking or hiking while carrying a weighted backpack), running, hiking, or cycling you choose, maintaining the consistency of your workout times is key. For example, if you used to hit Orange Theory on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, schedule your outdoor activities for the same times. This way, you keep your workouts intentional and on track, enjoying the best of both worlds—great fitness and beautiful weather.

So, as you swap the treadmill for the trail, remember that every step outside is an opportunity to not only meet your fitness goals but also to enjoy the beauty of nature.
