There seems to be an issue with the phone lines today: voicemail does not seem to be working.

Just a reminder that Violet is not in the office today, so if the phone rings more than 5 times, then Dr. Chris is unavailable to answer.

We are working to resolve the issue.

SUPPLEMENTS 💊

* Pre-Ordering is still mandatory *

Due to a couple of key factors, it has been a bit challenging for us to be able to get all of our supplements back in stock on a consistent basis:
1. Our bookkeeper had not been providing us with enough funds in order for us to catch up on the back-log of orders that we already have; and
2. Many of our suppliers are still experiencing production and material issues.

While we are starting to get back on track, we are currently on a ROTATIONAL SCHEDULE for ordering; meaning that most companies are being ordered ONCE in a month.
Therefore, pre-ordering of your supplements is still required; and they need to be placed well in advance (min. 2 weeks).
If we do not have what you need in stock, it may be replaced with another if we have a comparable supplement.

We apologize for the change; please be assured that we have been tirelessly trying to get your supplements in and are doing our best to rectify the external factors. We are slowly making progress ;)

April 2025 Closures/ Schedule Changes/Holidays:

1) The office will be closed for Easter Break: Thursday April 17, 2025 through Monday April 21, 2025.
We will re-open on Tuesday April 22 @ 9:00am.

* Dr. Katia De Marco will still be available for appointments on Thursday April 17, 2025.

2) Dr. Katia De Marco is shifting her hours, for the time being:

Thursdays = 12:30pm to 3:30pm
Fridays = 12pm to 3pm

* For any appointments outside of these hours, please call us as we will need to arrange with Dr. De Marco (will be on a case-by-case basis).

3) Violet will be off from the afternoon of Tuesday April 15, 2025 until after Easter.
During this time there will not be anyone readily available at the desk; Dr. Yam or Dr. De Marco will be able to assist you whenever they are available, in between patients.
Violet will get back to you as soon as she can on Tuesday April 22, 2025, for whatever Dr. Chris or Dr. Katia are unable to take care of.

Welcome to Evergreen Wellness

MEET OUR STAFF: Dr. Peter Yam, N.D. Dr. Yam has been practicing as a Naturopathic Physician in British Columbia for over 20 years. He has extensive training in health sciences including various academic degrees in science, education and Naturopathic medicine. He also holds numerous diplomas in clinical acupuncture, nutrition, psychotherapy, addictions counselling and bio-energetic medicine. Dr. Yam is an excellent lecturer focusing on empowering individuals to take charge of their own health. In addition Dr. Yam is a member of the American Board of Anti-Aging Health Practitioners, which focuses on the clinical sciences of anti-aging medicine. He also holds a certificate from the World Anti-Aging Academy of Medicine, a society of physicians and scientists dedicated to enhancing the quality and length of human life.

Chris Yam, Dr. TCM, R.Ac. Chris is the ultimate techinician and Dr. Yam’s Assistant. He is a Doctor of Chinese Medicine, with a focus of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, and Herbology. He has been with us for 18 years and performs our non-invasive testing, Laser Acutherapy (Acupuncture without needles) and various other treatments. Patients just love to come and see him for all his wisdom on nutrition.

Violet Medécigo, B.Sc Psych., RCT Violet is one of our front line assistants and back-up technicians (when Chris is unavailable) and is now going on her 20th year with us (she’s starting to feel old ;)). She is also our Thermography Technician (see our services page or website for details), a Cardiology Technologist (she can also do ECGs here too - we have an ECG machine) and a Young Living Distributor. She loves to travel (mostly to Mexico to visit in-laws) and loves her animals - please tell her all about your furbabies, as she is passionate about them ALL.

Lynda Wicklund Lynda is also one of our front line assistants and back-up technicians (again, when Chris is unavailable). She has been with us for 19 years and now commutes from up island 3 days/week - brave woman & we love her for it. Lynda also loves to travel - Vegas & Mexico are regular destinations ;)
