Perimenopause can be a little tricky, with the hormonal shifts, changes and often not what we expect. I’m 60 and reached menopause at 54! It was quite the rollercoaster until I found what worked for me 🫶. I started feeling symptoms (although didn’t know it) in my mid forties, but was in denial like most until around 48, when things started really shifting. In the reel I mention 5 signs that you may be in perimenopause but remember there are a whole bunch more symptoms and everyone is different❤️. 💗cycle changes/irregular. 💗irritated more than usual. 💗sleep disturbances. 💗migraine/headaches more often💗unexplained weight gain around the middle. the list is long… this is the biggest transition of our life not including child birth (which not everyone experiences). Would you like some help on this profound journey? Please send me a message and let’s chat 🥰. #hormoneyogatherapy #yogaforwomenshealth #perimenopause #menopausehealth #irregularperiods #yogaformenopause #menopausesupport #hormoneweightgain #yogaforsleep #migraines
New to Hormone Yoga? Along with the reel q/a here are some more detailed questions/answers 🫶 What is Hormone Yoga? It is a specialized yoga practice designed to help balance and regulate hormonal levels in the body. It combines yoga postures, breathing techniques, and relaxation practices to address hormonal imbalances and improve overall well-being. How does Hormone Yoga Therapy work? It targets specific glands and hormonal systems, such as the thyroid, adrenal glands, and reproductive organs. By using tailored yoga poses, breath, visualization it aims to stimulate and balance these systems, potentially alleviating symptoms related to hormonal imbalances. Who can benefit from Hormone Yoga Therapy? It is often recommended for individuals experiencing symptoms of hormonal imbalances, such as fatigue, mood swings, menstrual irregularities, or menopausal symptoms. However, it can be beneficial for anyone looking to improve overall hormonal health and well-being. How long does it take to see results? Results can vary from person to person. Some may notice improvements in a few weeks, while others may take longer. Consistency in practice is key to experiencing the full benefits. Are there any risks or side effects?Hormone Yoga Therapy is generally considered safe for most people. Except while pregnant. However, it’s important to consult with a healthcare professional, especially if you have any pre-existing health conditions or concerns. How often should I practice Hormone Yoga Therapy? Regular practice is recommended for the best results. Many practitioners suggest doing the exercises several times a week, but the frequency can be adjusted
I’m a little wobbly going up in headstand, but finally make it into a fairly decent stable place. Now, I’m not asking you to do or practice headstand (as it’s not for everyone) nor is it part of Hormone Yoga but let’s imagine headstand as a powerful reset BUTTON for your body’s hormones.Just like flipping upside down changes your perspective and shifts the flow of gravity, Hormone Yoga aims to realign & balance your internal systems.Whether it’s the physical inversion in a headstand or the internal realignment of hormones through this unique practice, each approach helps you restore equilibrium, giving you a fresh outlook & renewed stability.Could both practices be about finding balance in unexpected ways? #womenover40yoga #hormonebalance #hormonehealth #hormoneyogatherapy #yogaformenopause #yogaforperimenopause #menopausesupport

Achy fingers? Back pain? Hips? Joint/muscle pain is one of those symptoms that can make you feel old overnight, and it affects more than half of women during the menopause journey. Often docs give a diagnosis of fibromyalgia or osteoarthritis. If you are one of the “lucky” ones like me, (or like I did) who is experiencing extreme joint/muscle pain, I hear you! In 2017, I received an osteoarthritis diagnosis in my knees!! Since committing to my Hormone Yoga practice, all my joint pain is GONE! 💃💃. My knees, SI joints (lower back), hips, no longer ache, and there is no more stiffness. Are you in the menopausal journey and experiencing joint/muscle pain or stiffness? Part 2 coming!!
Space is limited, but there are a few spots left ❤️

Yoga Within
The Breath of Joy is one of my faves and go-to prana practices. Especially in the morning.☀️Through strong inhalations and synchronized arm movements, the practice awakens your whole system- increasing oxygen levels in the bloodstream! HOW TO PRACTICE BREATH OF JOY: To practice Breath of Joy, stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and parallel, knees slightly bent.Inhale one-third of your lung capacity and swing your arms up in front of your body, bringing them parallel to each other at shoulder level, with palms facing the ceiling.Continue inhaling to two-thirds capacity and stretch your arms out to the side like wings to shoulder level.Inhale to full capacity and swing your arms parallel and over your head, palms facing each other.Open your mouth and exhale completely with an audible ha, bending the knees more deeply as you sink into a standing squat and swing your arms down and back behind you like a diver.Enjoy!!.......#breathofjoy #yogapranayama #sanpancho #sanpanchonayarit
Right, how do we get through menopause and beyond, w/o symptoms?
If you menopause before the age of 40, it’s premature menopause.
If you menopause between 40-45 yo, it’s early menopause.
The average age is 45-55, and some will reach menopause closer to 60.
What can we do to eliminate and reduce the symptoms?
➡️ get a prescription for hormone replacement therapy
➡️ shift our diet
➡️stop smoking
➡️ reduce alcohol intake
➡️ take supplements/vitamins/concoctions
➡️ do Hormone Yoga!!
I’m not a smoker, and I’m a light drinker.
I walk, do some weights, eat well, but my main helper for my hormones is
Hormone Yoga Therapy!!
Tell me what’s helping you eliminate meno symptoms?

Are you getting enough zinc?
Oysters 🦪🦪🦪🦪🦪are one of my favourite sources of zinc.
They are the richest source of zinc, which is crucial in our ability to make testosterone- the hormone not only responsible for sex drive & vitality, but also it helps keep us confident & lean.
Oysters are a hormonal powerhouse and “sea superfood”, they’re also packed with protein, heart & brain-healthy omega-3 fatty acid, plus they’re low in saturated fat.
Have you reached Postmenopause?
Postmenopause is a time in a women’s menstrual cycle when she’s gone one full complete year without a period.
It has stopped 🛑
We will be Postmenopausal the rest of our life.
Here are 4 common risks we need to think about as postmenopausal women:
☑️ Ostopenia
☑️ Osteoporosis
☑️ Cardiovascular Health
☑️ Vaginal Atrophy
But here’s the Good News!
These risks can be reduced and eliminated by evidence based exercise, nutrition & lifestyle.
Are you on the other side??
I’d love to know ☀️🎉❤️

Think you're in Perimenopause?
Perimenopause is a period of time when a woman's menstrual cycle becomes less predictable and eventually stops 🛑
It typically starts sometime between the ages of 39 - 50 yo, and lasts 4-8 years, though it can last up to a decade or longer.
Here are the most common symptoms:
✅ Hot flushes
✅ Night sweats
✅ Insomnia & sleep disturbances
✅ Joint pain & stiffness
✅ Headaches or migraines
✅ Breast tenderness & pain
✅ Urinary & bladder issues
✅ Psychological & cognitive symptoms such as:
anxiety, brain fog & depression
But here's the Good News!
Many symptoms of perimenopause can be reduced and eliminated by evidence-based exercise, nutrition & lifestyle.
Not sure where to start?
🎉Hormone Yoga🎉 is a wonderful natural method that eliminates/reduces symptoms of perimenopause.
Are you experiencing different symptoms?
