Got lavender? Here is one option to make with it 💜
Lavender Syrup :
1 cup of fresh or dried lavender flowers
2 cups sugar
2 cups water
Place water and sugar in a pot and boil until sugar has completely dissolved.
Add the lavender flowers and stir. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and allow to cool for about 30 minutes for a stronger lavender flavour.
Strain buds and save the syrup in a glass jar or bottle.
Keeps in the fridge for about 2 weeks.

Lavender Lemonade:
In a litre jar, place 3-4 cups of ice, 4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, 4 tablespoons of lavender syrup and top with still or sparkling water. Adjust the sugar and syrup to taste.
Optional - garnish with lemon zest and a few sprigs of lavender
