We are so pleased to announce that Chloe Longuet (RMT) is expecting her first baby in late August. At the moment her final work day is expected to be Wednesday August 20th, and we are looking at having her return to caring for patients on January 5, 2026. We are beyond excited for her and her husband, and wish them all the best with this new adventure!

While Chloe is on her leave we are happy to have care provided to you by Sarah Podolsky (super intense OR super gentle lymphatic drainage), Ann Ching (all around fabulous practitioner), and Cassie Scott (gentle but deep). We are also adding Laura Bulat to the team on Mondays and Tuesdays during Chloe’s leave, to provide you with more options and flexibility for your care.

We’re looking forward to seeing you in the clinic before the end of August so you can get your Chloe care in before she leaves, but if we don’t, we know you’ll send your well wishes and see one of our other practitioners before her return in January!

Just a little reminder that at the clinic we strive to ensure the comfort and safety of our patients. With respect to the LGBTQ2+ community that looks like lack of judgement for things like body shape or size, lifestyle, using pronouns and names as indicated, and being supportive from a medical perspective. Intersectionality isn’t something foreign to us either, so come over and book in some self-care that looks like care. (ALSO, if there is something we haven’t quite got right, or there’s something we can improve, we’d like to know that too. We’re always learning!)

Did you know that our booking software ‘Jane app’ now has an actual app?? We screen shotted the process for you in this post. It was super easy and it makes booking and tracking appointments a snap. You can even add multiple clinics. One of the other awesome features, particularly for virtual psychotherapy, is that it has the link for appointments available so you don’t have to go searching!! We think you’ll find this very convenient! Enjoy!

Jessica Lindsey-Luckett (she/her) is an Expressive Arts Therapist-in-Training and will be joining the clinic on May 4 for in-person and virtual sessions!!! Wooohoooo! We are so excited because she works with children and adults and supports them through artistic disciplines. Jessica assures me that there is no judgment or experience needed when exploring art forms to connect with body, mind, emotions and spirit. When we met her we were impressed with the calm and quiet groundedness she brings with her. Also, her incredible background with previous work experiences with communities including the 2SLGBTQI+ community, newcomers to Canada, people with experiences of homelessness, people who use substances, grief and loss, and frontline workers, allow her to draw upon and relate with respect to trauma, social systems and identities. Stop scrolling! We’ve added OSTEOPATHY to the clinic! Etsuko (sounds like “let’s go”) Shibamoto will be in the clinic on Tuesdays 2-7, starting next week! She began her career as a RMT in 2016 and then decided to go back to school for four years for osteopathic education to learn more about the structure and function of the human body as a whole unit.

My session with Etsuko was grounding, centring, gentle, in addition to feeling the change in mobility. It is wonderful as an adjunct or a stand-alone modality. I felt it was a lovely and rejuvenating treatment. Enough of my raving - if you’re at all interested book in! And if you have more questions there are more technical and specific details about osteopathy on the website.

Tulips care of a patient brought in to brighten us up! I love the petals on these - and it’s my favourite tulip colour combo. I’m a sucker for these in the spring.
