Headwaters Wellness is located in the heart of the village of Alton and offers a serine environment for you to escape to. Alton is nestled in the Hills of the Headwaters known for its rolling hills, abundant rivers and waterfalls. Headwaters is a unique region including Caledon, Orangeville, Erin, Mono and Shelburne. Yesterday I returned back to my roots and visited the CAO, the Osteopathic School that I graduated from almost ten years ago to this day for Osteopathy

A lot has changed in those ten years but what remains is the reason I fell in love with the profession in the first place

✨ The founding principles of Osteopathy and the belief that the body is self healing
✨ Osteopathy is a science and art that believes in the connection of body, mind and spirit
✨ The founder of Osteopathy, A.T. Stills connection to nature and to spirituality
✨ Since it was founded in 1874, Osteopathy was very progressive in thinking and always held the thirst for searching to dig deeper in the body mind connection

It truly was a full circle moment to witness how far I have come in those ten years, not only professionally but personally as well 🦋

Looking back, I applaud 👏🏼my younger self for making it through those 4 years of rigorous education while also raising a 18 month old and giving birth to my second daughter in my second year of school

Thank you for being a part of my journey and trusting in my hands 🙌🏼 to help facilitate the natural healing ability that your body truly holds

🙏🏻 It is an honour and I still hold that Osteopathic Oath that I took 10 years ago, near and dear to my heart ❤️

This full moon energy has been no joke! And many are feeling it

So I decided to have a dance party to literally shake it all off

When you are feeling stuck and weighted down by life the best remedy is movement …..especially dance

Holding space for others is something I hold very sacred in my healing work ✨🍂

Rooting down and deepening until I have the capacity to show up back in this space again
