The Queen of Canada organization showed up and showed out in Calgary! 💃

These pageant queens brought their glam and celebration of trans visibility to the Calgary donor centre, where they donated blood together and raised $1,800 for Canadian Blood Services. For Nazir, donating plasma isn’t just about routine, it’s about how good it feels to give. The hour he spends at the donor centre each week is something he says is genuinely looked forward to.

Nazir has become a friendly face at the donor centre. “He’s built such a connection with our team and with all the other donors.” said Canadian Blood Services community development manager, Sharon.

Hitting 450 donations felt so meaningful, he’s already set his next goal: 1,000! 👏💕

Big wins, full hearts ❤️

Last Fall, we held the Fall Get Together Friendsgiving competition, where participating post-secondary schools across Canada battled hard for the highest Donor Point Average — the percentage of members of their team who booked and attended a donation appointment during the contest period. Congrats to our champs from UBC Okanagan and the University of Alberta for topping the charts and winning the whole thing! 💪

Between laughs and a celebratory feast (thank you, Uber Eats Canada!), these legends took home a limited-edition Peace Collective donor hoodie and the unmatched feeling of doing good as a squad.

Proof that when we come together to donate, we can do great things 🏆
