Bee stings, wasp stings, spider bites, and tick bites are all common this time of year — and while many are mild, some can lead to allergic reactions, infection, or more serious complications.
At The Medicine Shoppe Tantallon, our pharmacists can assess your symptoms and recommend or prescribe appropriate treatment for common bites and stings.
If you’ve been bitten by a tick, we can prescribe antibiotics to prevent Lyme disease when indicated — and this service is covered by MSI. We can also assess and prescribe for early Lyme symptoms.
