Walking through this door today marked the start of a new chapter. My first day as a student of Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine at the Autumn Institute of Health.

After 15 years as an RMT, it’s both exciting and humbling to step back into learning. I’m looking forward to deepening my skills, exploring new ways of supporting health, and weaving this knowledge into the care I offer.

New rhythm begins here. ✨🌿

Life has shifted a lot these past few years, and I got to share the journey on 2 Massage Therapists and a Microphone Podcast 🎙️ this week.

From 15 years as an RMT to a student at 40, pivots, challenges, and what’s next. 🌿 Grateful for the chance to tell my story and have some laughs with these great folks!

We had Tiffany on in 2020 when she had to make the heartbreaking decision to close her clinic during the COVID lockdown because it was lease renewal time and there was just too much uncertainty. Here we are 5 years later and her life looks completely different. She has relocated to Nova Scotia and had a fantastic career working with a wonderful team at a Naturopathic Clinic with a truly multidisciplinary approach. She has recently had the itch for more challenges and it’s a good thing! An autoimmune diagnosis has made Tiffany realize that as much passion and love that she has for being a RMT might not be enough to keep her here.

Firstly, thank you all for your kindness and support as I’ve navigated my health journey this summer. A new autoimmune diagnosis has meant reshaping both my life and my work.

I’ll be closing my home practice to regular bookings, though I may open occasional spots when my body allows. Email or DM me if you’d like to join the list for those openings.

In the next few weeks, I’ll return to Cornerstone Naturopathic Inc. one day a week (Thursdays). My treatments will be gentler and more sustainable. Still therapeutic, but without deep tissue work. If deep pressure is essential, I’m happy to recommend another therapist.

This fall, I begin a two-year program in Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine, expanding my ability to support healing from a truly holistic lens. I’m excited to share that journey with you here.
