What one do you need?

It’s about so much more than “what supplement should I take?”

If you’re tired of spinning your wheels, asking chatGPT and Google what you should do - maybe it’s time for a different strategy and a healthcare experience that feels human 😉

Yes, these things are still very real.

AND they are always responding to how you are supporting them and the resources they have.

Feeling and living your best life means taking full responsibility. It’s the only way you’ll overcome any challenge, change or conflict.

With love from luteal Leigha who has the mic and just dropped it.

I un-did a thing.

In 2016, I opened the beautiful clinic - it was a vision I had and loved creating.

In 2020, when the world shut down and I had a break from clinic ownership, I realized my heart was no longer in it.

I struggled with the decision for almost a year as we navigated the chaos that was COVID.

In 2021, I sold the clinic to the wonderful and still get to call it my work home. I love our team.

It’s been 5 years since I knew it was a decision I had to make.

I worried so much about what people would think and if I was a failure for not seeing it through.

The truth is, letting go of this one piece allowed me to free up time and energy in my zones of genius - group programs, workshops, podcasting, coaching other clinicians, developing CE courses - as well as more time for me and my kiddos.

Things that light me up way more and feed back into serving others in a big way, too.

Sometimes we need to un-do and let go to move on to what we’re meant for.

In a world and society where we can focus so much on doing, growing and having more - sometimes you need to pause, go inward, listen to your gut and heart and allow the rest to unfold - even if it’s scary, even if you feel like you’re failing, even if you’re not sure how it’s going to work out -

But you know the decision is right.

This sign is still on our building from 2021 and seeing it yesterday reminded me of how much things change and how important it is to surrender to the flow of life.

It’s not always easy, but I promise you’ll find your way on the other side of whatever hard decision you have to make 💕

Can you guess what’s the root cause of this patient’s concerns?

By the end of our initial visit, I am 90% certain (like legit 90% based on likelihood ratios, pretest probability stats and one physical exam component) we know what’s driving her dysfunction.

Now it’s your turn to be the doc!

Cast your vote in the poll 👇🏼

I’ll share the answer in my stories on Friday!

If you struggle with brain fog (it’s real!) and want to reduce your risk of dementia -

Ditch the search for a supplement fix and book a girls weekend.

I just had 3 beautiful days with the incredible and , who I am lucky to call my besties.

I’m feeling more energized, clear-headed, and myself than I have in a long time.

It’s not just the laughter and late-night chats (though those help too!) — research shows that strong relationships and a sense of community are essential for mental health, reducing brain fog, and even lowering the risk of dementia as we age.

We’re wired for connection. And weekends like this are the best reminder that our friendships aren’t just good for the soul — they’re medicine for the mind too.

Thanks to for capturing our faces - it’s so nice to have something other than a selfie.

These photos look exactly like what our time together feels like to me.

And stay tuned for our 3 way podcast episode - it’s going to be 🔥

Tired of the searching through the information overwhelm?

I’m deep in a continuing education course on obesity management right now — and get so many questions on intermittent fasting (IF) on the regular from patients.

Here’s the real talk:

👉🏼 IF can help with weight loss mainly because you eat fewer calories — not because of fasting magic.

👉🏼 Real metabolic benefits (like better insulin sensitivity) need longer fasts — 14–16+ hours — not just skipping breakfast.

👉🏼 Most research on fasting has been done in men. Women (especially pre and perimenopausal) have been underrepresented - this matters because women tend to be more sensitive to prolonged fasting, especially in reproductive years

👉🏼 Prolonged fasting and underfueling can disrupt your HPA axis (the connection between your brain and adrenals that moderates your stress response) and the connection between your brain and ovaries- all of which can negatively impact menstrual cycles, mood and thyroid health

I’m tired of diet culture recycling half-truths.

It’s never a one-size-fits-all or magic bullet approach.

What’s best for you is what *works* best for you.

I’m curious. What’s your experience or question about IF? Drop ‘em here 👇🏼

One woman’s story can’t speak for everyone—but when you see someone go from barely making it through the day to thriving in less than 5 months… it’s worth sharing.

She saw four different practitioners. Was told “you’re just getting older.” Got handed another prescription or supplement.

Nothing was working and she felt defeated.

Then she didn’t give up and trusted me. 🙏🏼

With the right combination of testing, hormonal support, nutrition, and consistent follow-up, we uncovered what was keeping her stuck… and she got 90% better. In under 5 months.

This kind of care doesn’t work like magic. It works because it’s intentional. Individualized. Rooted in science and led with heart.

If you’re ready to feel heard, validated, and supported—we should talk.

Most women think they have to wait until menopause — like, no more periods — to even consider hormone therapy.

But that’s outdated thinking.

Hormone therapy isn’t just for hot flashes. It can support mood, libido, PMS, migraines, bone health, and more — well before menopause.

The key? Making sure it’s right for you.

That takes a detailed conversation about your goals, risks, and options — with someone trained to guide you.

I’m a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP), and have done extensive training in hormone therapy - and I love helping women start optimizing their hormone health sooner than later.

The fear around HT needs to end.

Let’s get started. 💪
