Today marks 14 years since I first landed in Canada 🇨🇦
Even now, I can close my eyes and relive that moment.
It was my first international flight… and only the second flight of my life.
I came with one clear goal:
➡️ Get my pharmacist license as soon as possible.
For the next 2.5 years, it was nothing but books, studying, and hard work — sometimes 16 hours a day.
People often ask me, “Why don’t you like reading?”
Well… now you know 😄
Goal #1 — achieved.
Then came the next challenge:
➡️ Save money, take a risk, and open my own pharmacy.
That meant 5 years of working, saving, and learning in the corporate world.
And finally…
Trail Capital Pharmacy was born.
But honestly, the first couple of years were tough.
There were days during COVID when not a single person walked into the store.
I still remember one Sunday —
I sat in the pharmacy for 5 hours… no customers, no phone calls.
I closed up, feeling defeated.
As I was leaving, I saw someone trying to open the door.
He just needed Tylenol for his kid.
I parked my car, went back, and made that one sale…
and I remember thinking — at least today wasn’t zero.
Funny how small moments stay with you forever.
I couldn’t find pictures from my first flight,
so I’m sharing some old memories instead —
👉 My first visit to Queen’s Park in
(Confidence level was high… fashion sense questionable 😄 — those shoes say everything)
👉 And my first car ever — almost crossed 400,000 km on it!
Looking back, it’s been a journey of risks, hard work, learning, some good luck, and lots of mistakes — a few tough falls, but always getting back up and giving it another shot… sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
And if there’s one thing this journey has taught me — people are generally good, and kindness goes a long way.
So many of you have supported me along the way, and I truly appreciate it 🙏
This journey is yours as much as it is mine.
Grateful for everything this journey has given me — and for all the people who made it possible. ❤️
