Rotary Club of Uxbridge The Rotary Club of Uxbridge, Chartered in May 1996, has played a key role in supporting a diversity of community projects and individual needs.

The group has supported various projects from helping with the establishment of the local trail system to assisting students with their goals to do foreign aid projects. Rotary is both local and international and as part of the Rotary International community we contribute some of our funds to international initiatives including the eradication of polio, clean water initiatives, education and liter

acy programs, and health projects. All part of making our community a better place to live, work and play.

On Saturday night we gathered to celebrate the 30th anniversary of our club! It gave us a chance to share memories of the many local and global projects we have supported, and the fun and friendships we’ve enjoyed along the way. We were glad to thank the Charter Members for starting us out all those years ago, as well as Whitby Sunrise Rotary Club and Rotary District 7070 for guiding us in the power our small service club can have to make lasting change.
Huge thanks go to the wonderful community of Uxbridge who always show up to support our efforts and have helped us raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for initiatives in Uxbridge and North Durham, as well as contributing to improved health and peace in the world. Here’s to the next 30 years!
