Need some support but finding it unaffordable?

Our student clinic is 100% pay what you can. That means you pay as little as $1 up to a maximum of $100 for a one hour session. Receipts are still issued and you’re still welcome to send them through to your insurance company if you have coverage as well.

Leidy, our current student clinician is a warm, kind, skilful clinician who listens deeply. She still has just a few spaces left for clients. Reach out to us now to secure a spot with her.

No, there’s no catch. Our student clinicians are completing their Master of Counseling Psychology, and simply need hours to wrap up this graduate-level training. That means you get skilled therapeutic support, at a fraction of the cost. The student is also supervised by highly trained and experienced clinician and so it’s almost like you have two therapists supporting you all the way.

Our last equinw therapy group was such a success that we decided to do it again! This time we will be focussing on using equine therapy, combined with concept from Radically Open DBT, to help address challenges with perfectionism, high control, or over control, rigidity, obsessive compulsive personality, or the challenges that can come with just plain and simply being a “Type A” personality.

Men’s needs are often under served in Mental Health - and that affects everyone. We know a lot of men and people who identify as male would often prefer to talk to someone male. This is at least one part of why we have brought a male, qualifying therapist onto the team!

Our student clinic is 100% Pay-What-You-Can, no gimmicks. We offer this so our student clinicians get great experience, while clients in need are better-able to access therapy.

AND our current student therapist, Lorenzo, has clinical interest many areas - including men’s mental health. He knows some of the hurdles that men face is speaking openly about their experiences and feelings and he’s here to help in a way that can feel supportive, yet logical, solution-focused, and balanced. You do not have to do it alone.

Meet our new student clinician, Lorenzo Mariani. Lorenzo is an incredibly empathetic, warm, and kind clinician who is committed to creating a safe and open space for clients. Lorenzo has great experience working in the mental health field. He has experience working for Kids Help Phone, ABA Therapy, and has completed his coursework for his Masters of Counselling Psychotherapy.

Lorenzo will be serving clients on a pay-what-you-can basis for his practicum to complete his masters. Lorenzo will be supervised by highly experienced and trained clinic owner, Joelle Anderson. This ensures clients still get access to excellent care but without the typical costs associated.
