After 27 years using the same dentist, I needed to find a new dentist after moving to Uxbridge. After a bit of research, I decided to give Aster Family Dental a visit for my regular 6 month cleaning.
I am writing this review because I was blown away by the service and genuine care of the team at Aster Family Dental.
They were gracious, genuinely concerned, and extremely thorough. The atmosphere is very comfortable, and I felt I was in very professional care.
I was also very impressed and surprised that I learned new information about maintaining (my) oral hygiene, and I’m 57 and take great care of my teeth!
If you are looking for a dentist, stop by their office and see for yourself!

Welcome Dr. Makaremi to our team!!
Dr. Sina Makaremi earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto, where he was recognized with the Paula Gregory Memorial Award. Originally trained as a mechanical engineer, he discovered his passion for dentistry in helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health.

Dr. Makaremi has provided care in both local communities—including Aurora, Simcoe, Toronto, and Oshawa—and abroad through outreach trips to Jamaica, Guatemala, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic. He believes in early diagnosis and prevention, taking the time to guide his patients through treatment options with compassion and clarity.

Fluent in English and Farsi (Persian), Dr. Makaremi is known for his gentle approach and commitment to excellence in care. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys reading, playing the piano, running, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.
