Dixie offers in-person Vancouver counselling sessions and is also available online and specializes in supporting clients with life transitions, healing from grief and trauma, and overall relationship concerns!
Dixie has always been deeply passionate about supporting others through life’s challenges and would be honoured to walk alongside clients as they navigate their own. Building a trusting, compassionate, and empathetic connection with those she works with is at the heart of her practice. She understands that reaching out for help can be a vulnerable step and strives to create a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals can feel heard, understood, and supported in their journey.
With a background in trauma-informed care across diverse settings, Dixie has supported individuals of all ages through challenges such as trauma, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, and life transitions. She utilizes tools such as nervous system regulation and grounding techniques to help clients in moments of emotional distress, restoring clarity and promoting emotional balance.
Dixie takes a client-centered, collaborative approach, tailoring her methods to each person's unique needs and goals.
