Everyone say hello to our newest RCC addition: Rachael Do!

Rachael offers in-person Vancouver counselling sessions and is also available online and specializes in supporting clients with trauma, relationships, ADHD, sexuality, identity and cultural matters, and overall life transitions.

Rachael understands the vulnerability of attending counselling and strives to create a safe space where clients can share their thoughts, inner dialogue, and therapy goals. Her approach is collaborative and growth-oriented, supporting clients as they strengthen their sense of self and move toward greater self-acceptance. She works with individuals, relationships, and families in a safe and supportive environment, and supports a diverse range of clients who struggle with anxiety and depression, ADHD, emotional regulation challenges, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, cultural expectations, and relationship concerns.
Rachael also brings previous experience in business leadership and welcomes clients navigating themes of professional burnout, work–life balance, career identity exploration, and interpersonal challenges. She is a person of colour and works through a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive lens, collaborating with clients to gain insights, heal, and create a more fulfilling life. Rachael likes to bring a bit of humour into sessions when it feels right — it can help lighten the mood, make things feel more human, and remind clients that it’s okay to laugh, even while working through tough experiences.

A quiet moment.
A mindful breath.
A reminder that healing doesn’t have to be rushed.

Sometimes, grounding can start with something as simple as raking sand, stacking stones, or noticing the stillness around you.

What do you love about miniature zen gardens?

Skylark Counselling

GROWTH - RESILIENCE - CHANGE

We’re a team of Certified and Registered Clinical Counsellors specializing in relationships, compulsive behaviours, and trauma. All of our practitioners hold a Master’s level degree and above and are each experts in various therapies grounded in science, combined with extensive training and real world experience in their specified fields of work.

We are not rigid or know it all’s. We aren’t shocked by disclosures, or shaken by secrets. We don’t criticize or assume. We aren’t gossipers or half-listeners. We don’t label because of preferences, decisions you’ve made or decisions you are making. We aren’t burnt out, and we aren’t unresponsive.

We are people that have it together, but still are human. We have families, hobbies, and passions. We are always learning, friendly, open-minded, and practical. If we don’t know the answer we’ll find it, if we don’t understand, we’ll ask. We are dedicated to improving people’s lives through honesty, understanding, and individual empowerment. We are the people you can talk about anything with.
