Avoiding showing ourselves as vulnerable beings means opening the gate to shame.

✨Replace every "should" with what you would like to invite in your life. For example, instead of saying I should meditate daily 👉 I would like to invite peace and the present moment in my life, I feel peaceful when I meditate daily
✨"I shouldn't feel that way" blocks the emotion that you are feeling, which gives more power to the thought that you want to avoid, which literally feeds this overgrowing emotion and invites shame on top of it. The best way to overcome this toxic pattern is to welcome the emotion and feel it in your body. Mindfulness and acceptance practices offer beautiful ways to live freely with your emotions.
