Today we offer a Sacred Cacao Ceremony at Svastha for Salud para Todos .caribe 🙏🏽✨🩵💫🦋💧

Salud Para Todos Caribe is a nonprofit organization expanding access to integrative and preventive health care for under-served families in Talamanca. 100% of your contribution goes directly to supporting them.

When: Sunday, November 2nd, 9-5pm
Where: Svastha (was AmaSer) in Puerto Viejo

Choose from 1:1 sessions such as massage, reflexology, facials, and more, and group sessions like yoga, sound healing, Cacao Ceremony, and more.

A nourishing Ayurvedic lunch will be served for certain packages with vegan/veggie options.

FREE CHILDCARE PROVIDED for children 2+: With reservation, inquire when scheduling.

SAHASRARA Mudra ~ The Crown Chakra hand seal

Sahasrara means “thousands’’ in Sanskrit. Referring to the lotus flower 🪷 with a thousand petals.

Each petal represents a different aspect of our being, such as emotions, thoughts, and actions.

The complete opening of all the petals causes a universal balance of the body, mind, and spirit.

Often referred to as the purple or violet chakra. Violet represents purity, spirituality, and enlightenment. With the element of this chakra being ‘consciousness’, it is the highest level of awareness and is said to connect us to the divine.

The sound seed that goes with this chakra is AUM / OHM, the sound of the universe.

And therefore the abbreviation of the name of our yoga school/ community Soul Ascension Healing Arts “SAHA” and the purple and violet color are the representation of the healing arts we offer and teach.

When the Sahasrara Chakra is open and balanced, it brings a more positive outlook on life. You will notice visible changes in attitude, emotions like gratitude, compassion, and acceptance. This can positively impact you both emotionally and physically as follows:

• Spiritual awakening
• Clarity of mind
• Increased empathy and compassion
• Greater sense of purpose
• Improved intuition
• Reduced anxiety and stress
• Mental balance
• Mood stabilization
• Improved sleep patterns
• Boost in energy
• Improved heart health

Practice Sahasrara mudra before or during a meditation, before or after a yoga practice. Or whenever you feel you need to reconnect to this chakra/ open your crown to receive support and wisdom from the Cosmos/ your Higher self.

These are the Koshas. These layers are not separate entities but interconnected layers that influence each other. By practicing yoga and meditation, individuals can become more aware of each kosha, address imbalances, and ultimately move closer to experiencing the true Self.

One of our 200 YTT students, Melany , drew this amazing Kosha lotus 🪷(slide 2). In het asignment she says “Koshas are the sheaths of energy layers that make up our human system of energy, emotions, thoughts, physical function and our connection to our atman and brahman. I think humans must go on a journey in each layer to understand ourselves better and achieve our bliss body - the divine connection that resides in us.”

We are so much more then the physical body. Through yoga we can know the Koshas, these layers that we aslo are, better/ more and expand our consiousness.
