Summer days on the beach means wearing the 6 months + garments (in this case the retired red pantyhose from Medi and the CEP arm sleeves). Still get some compression and not care if the sand gets into the material.

Flow was happy to host a phebology compression garment certification with Terri MediCanada. We had a number of newly certified CDT therapists from the Vodder program join us from Saanich, Squamish as well as the GVA. They now have the knowledge to measure for circular knit as well as Circaid (Velcro wrap type) garments.
In honour of our esteemed guest I wore all Medi compression. Combining the new tend colour lilac with the leopard print thigh high garments and the standard colour grey arm sleeves.
We look forward to when these new fitters continue their journey with their Lymphology training, allowing them to measure for flat knit garments.

Emily focuses on providing patient centered care by creating a treatment plan that best supports individual therapeutic goals. In her practice she utilizes techniques of myofascial release and manual lymphatic drainage (MLD).

Aside from her Massage Therapy training, Emily is also a 200 hour certified yoga instructor. She regularly integrates therapeutic yoga into her treatments to assist patients in restoring their functional abilities outside of the treatment room.

In her free time, Emily enjoys practicing yoga, rock climbing, running, hiking and exploring the mountains of British Columbia.
