Did you know today marks the 35 year anniversary of the American Disability Act?

This law was signed to protect the civil rights of people with disabilities in America and prohibits discrimination in core areas of public life. This includes the work place, education, transportation, and general accessibility. The ADA ensures that everyone, regardless of ability has the same opportunities to participate fully in society!

It’s the most diagnosed childhood motor disability in the United States and Canada.

This month, let’s amplify the conversation by simply saying 'hi' and learning more about what it means to live with CP. Small actions, like starting a conversation, can help create a more inclusive world where everyone has the chance to thrive. 💚 If you'd like to introduce yourself here as a person with CP or a family member/caregiver/physician for someone with CP, we'd love to meet you!
