How is the Agilik different than other mobility devices on the market?

Many lower-limb exoskeletons provide total support for the user, essentially walking for them by managing their movement. However, the Agilik takes a different approach. It offers an assistive boost at the knee, allowing wearers to maintain (and practice!) full motor control of their legs. Moreover, the Agilik provides assistance for both knee extension and flexion, offering the best of both worlds without the need for compromise! Check out the video to see how the Agilik works.

Did you know today marks the 35 year anniversary of the American Disability Act?

This law was signed to protect the civil rights of people with disabilities in America and prohibits discrimination in core areas of public life. This includes the work place, education, transportation, and general accessibility. The ADA ensures that everyone, regardless of ability has the same opportunities to participate fully in society!
