October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

This month, we are launching our new BE-FIT: Movement for Life After Breast Cancer program.

BE-FIT is an evidence-based, movement-focused virtual program developed by leading researchers at the University of British Columbia Cancer Exercise & Physiotherapy Lab. It’s designed to help women build strength, improve fitness, and manage treatment-related side effects after a diagnosis of breast cancer.

This program is designed for patients who have completed their primary breast cancer treatment, and are currently taking endocrine therapy, or are experiencing ongoing side effects, such as fatigue, muscle or joint pain, difficulty sleeping, mood changes, hot flashes, and hot flashes.

BE-FIT is an 8-week virtual program that includes:
• Two weekly 75-minute sessions combining movement to build strength, plus a short education component
• Two optional 60-minute group education sessions with a registered dietitian experienced in cancer care

📅 Fall Program Dates:
October 20th – December 11th, 2025
Mondays & Thursdays | 1:30 – 2:45 pm

On this important day, we remember the children who never returned home and honour the Survivors of residential schools, their families, and their communities.

At InspireHealth, we are committed to fostering understanding, compassion, and respect. As we acknowledge the painful truths of our history, we commit to healing, reconciliation, and unity - building a brighter, inclusive future for all Canadians.

Please note that our centres will be closed on September 30th in observance of this important day.
