As a longtime advocate for various social issues, such as support for Indigenous people with disabilities, Sandra Pronteau puts her own lived experience into the work she does. Through her advocacy, she continues to pave a path for more inclusion.

“We need to promote not just awareness, but the resiliency of all of us who have overcome and made it this far in life. Especially for people with disabilities and people who are Indigenous," Sandra says. "We’re often dismissed in society, and I’m one of those persons who does not take no for an answer and walk away quietly, but address and call them head-on.”

During our documentary screening on November 17 from 3-4 pm, learn more about Sandra's journey of resilience and the impact she's made in her community.
