Abilities Expo has changed and grown since 2010, but our commitment remains the same: creating a space for people with disabilities to connect with the community, different resources and accessibility solutions.

This year’s Abilities Expo will be happening on Monday, June 8 , 10 am – 4pm at the Roundhouse Community Centre! Tickets, lunch, and activities are free!

The ConnecTra team recently had the opportunity to meet Kaitlyn, founder of Accessibility & the City, and learned more about her story, mission, and work. Through her platform, Kaitlyn shares accessible places and experiences around the Lower Mainland and beyond with her lived-experience insight.

Kaitlyn’s work is raising awareness on the importance of having accessible opportunities, inclusive planning, and the need to consider accessibility in all aspects of what we do and all the places we go.
