COMING SOON!!!
Your backcountry ski physio is HERE!!
Sophie brings a work ethic forged in long days and real terrain. Before physiotherapy, she spent seasons as a tree planter, lifeguard, and outdoor education supervisor—jobs that demanded durability, problem-solving, and showing up even when your body was tired.
In the clinic, Sophie's approach blends hands-on treatment with targeted strength and movement work, grounded in real-world demands—whether that means skinning uphill efficiently, skiing with confidence in variable snow, or simply moving without hesitation day to day.
Outside the clinic, Sophie spends most of her time in the mountains. Her backcountry skiing CV is complemented by backpacking, climbing, and long-distance running. She has also worked as a climbing instructor for the past two years, helping climbers train smarter and stay resilient both on and off the wall.
Sophie grew up in Fukuoka, Japan, spent many seasons working and playing in the East Kootenay, and now calls Vancouver home. She offers physiotherapy services in both English and Japanese.
