No one ever solved anything with harshness.
I was reminded of this while snapping this photo at the largest market in Africa — two kittens curled up in the middle of the chaos, finding softness amidst the heat, the crowd, and the danger of a place where cats are often overlooked.
It made me think of a couple I worked with recently — how quickly our walls go up when we’re hurt. We become cold, sharp, distant. We think that strength means withholding softness.
But the truth is, harshness halts connection.
Softness is what lets us stay in it.
It’s terrifying to be soft with someone who’s hurt us. But it’s also the gateway to intimacy. The kind that heals. The kind that helps us feel seen and met — instead of stuck in the same painful loop.
On May 3rd in Victoria, I’m offering Relationship Reset, a live in-person workshop for couples and individuals ready to shift how they do love. You’ll learn how to be soft and strong. Boundaried and open. Loving and powerful — all in one breath.
There are only 3 spots left.
This is for anyone who’s ready to reconnect — with yourself or someone you love.
