What are your thoughts on tick removal?

As spring approaches, the likelihood of running into ticks is increasing rapidly.

Studies are suggesting that our chances of finding ticks carrying Lyme disease in BC are increasing, so take extra care if you are in tick terrain!!

The reason we need to avoid using flames to remove ticks is: burning a tick may cause it to throw up into your blood stream; increasing the chance of disease or infection. Squeezing the tick will also cause a similar effect
