Vaseline can be very helpful for dry, cracked feet because it helps seal moisture in the skin. But try pairing it with a urea-based cream first, then layer Vaseline on top. You can also try the “soak and smear” method: soak feet in warm water, pat dry, apply moisturizer, then seal with Vaseline. Small upgrades for an even better result.

Makeup with SPF is a bonus, not your whole sun protection plan.

Most people don’t apply enough sunscreen, let alone the amount of makeup needed to get the SPF on the label. Use a dedicated broad-spectrum sunscreen as the last step in your morning skincare routine, then apply makeup on top. SPF makeup is backup, not the base. ☀️

Some reminders for Skin Cancer Awareness Month:

⚠️ Skin cancer is very common and can be deadly
☀️Excessive UV exposure is the primary cause of both melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer so protect your skin in the sun
❌ Use of tanning beds significantly increases your risk of deadly melanoma and skin cancer so stay out of them!
⛱️ Using multiple forms of sun protection, including hats, clothing & sunscreen, is the best way to reduce your risk
👩🏻‍⚕️ Perform self skin checks and see your doctor for any concerning spots or changes

Keratosis Pilaris or KP is a common skin condition and can be frustrating to treat (I know because I have it!). A combination of gentle exfoliation and moisturization is recommended. Comment PRODUCTS for a list of my favorite options for KP.
