HIM is back for another year at Vancouver Pride! We’ve got a ton of ways to engage with you all this year in whatever way you need. Come find us for vaccinations, testing, drug checking, resources, information, and more. You can also join us during the Pride festival in the “Bush” for our first ever Q***r Wellness Garden to cool off, unwind, and socialize while you enjoy complimentary ice cream and cold beverages.

In BC, toxic drug overdose is the leading cause of death for people aged 19–59 and yet, the response from institutions remains heartbreakingly inadequate. Sound familiar? For many of us, it echoes the silence and inaction around the HIV/AIDS crisis that devastated our community just a few decades ago.

This interactive session invites q***r folks to gather, reflect, and reconnect with our shared resilience, the beauty of who we are, to remember what we’ve survived, and to channel that legacy into action. Let’s celebrate Pride not just with glitter and dance floors, but by reigniting our power as change-makers. Our history is full of defiance, compassion, and collective care and that energy is exactly what this moment needs.
