Not all scalp micropigmentation is created equal.

The top photo shows SMP done somewhere else. The dots were too large and too dark, which made the hairline look unnatural.

We first removed the old pigment with laser, then rebuilt the hairline from scratch.

After 3 sessions, the result looks softer, natural, and much closer to real hair follicles.

This is why choosing an experienced SMP artist matters. When done correctly, SMP should blend seamlessly with your natural hair and be virtually undetectable.

Does SMP look like a tattoo?

A lot of people assume it’s the same thing.

It’s not.

Scalp micropigmentation requires extremely precise hand pressure to place thousands of tiny impressions only in the upper layer of the skin. That control is what keeps the result soft and natural.

Traditional tattoos are implanted much deeper. That’s why they heal differently, look heavier, and can blur over time.

We also use pigments specifically formulated for SMP to maintain a natural tone and stability.

When done properly, the goal isn’t for anyone to notice it.
It should look like real hair follicles — not something painted on.
