Happy World Hearing Day 2026! 👂✨

From the classroom to the community, hearing care belongs to every child.

Did you know that globally, 90 million children (ages 5 - 19) live with hearing loss?

The good news? Over 60% of childhood hearing loss is preventable through simple, cost-effective measures.

Hearing is about more than just sound - it’s the foundation for:
1. Speech & Language Development: Children learn to talk by hearing, building vital pathways for understanding the world.
2. Safety & Awareness: Noticing alarms, traffic, and voices keeps our kids safe.
3. Success in School: Clear access to language is the key to literacy and academic achievement.
4. Social Connections: Hearing supports the conversations and play that help children make friends and feel included.

Early identification is everything. Whether it’s through hearing devices or sign language, early intervention ensures the best success for speech and language development.

When in doubt, check it out!
