Barbara Bickel and I are planning anew for our "Bearing Bloodlines: Ancestral Invocations" ritual performance. We are changing the shape of our original form and are now creating a video that integrates work done over the past few years with new components. Through conversations with our ancestors we are trusting this work will deepen our intentions of integrating art, healing and the sacred, to understand causes and effects of our ancestors’ actions as colonial settlers on Turtle Island.
Our Fundrazr will reopen after we update our cost of production with the most recent changes needed to complete our new art-video.

Barbara and I are very disappointed to announce that, due to Covid, we have had to postpone our on-line performance of Bearling Bloodlines:Ancestral Invocations until November 2025. Our campaign on Fundrazr has been paused and we will keep you posted with updates.

Barbara Bickel and I, Tannis Hugill, are so excited ito invite you to help support the creation of our ritual performance “Bearing Bloodlines: Ancestral Invocations”, that I am sending this post again!! This piece integrates art, healing and spirituality to heal the lineage of collective trauma in our blood. It illuminates our process of colonial ancestral reconciliation work so we can take responsible action in the world.

In addition to ourselves as performers, we are delighted to have Alexa Mardon and Erika Mitsuhashi take on the roles of the Ancestral Guides by manipulating the puppets.
