Did you know…..you can claim eligible medical expenses on your tax return if you, or your spouse or common-law partner paid for the medical expenses in any 12-month period ending in 2024
and did not claim them in 2023.
Some common Medical Expenses That Are Deductible Include:
• Physiotherapy, occupational therapy, chiropractic (from licensed practitioners)
• Prescription medications (prescribed & purchased from a licensed pharmacy)
• Dental care (fillings, cleanings, root canals, dentures)
• Prescription eyeglasses and contact lenses
• Hearing aids and batteries
• Mobility aids (wheelchairs, walkers, bathroom safety equipment)
