This Vancouver patient in his mid-40’s started noticing hair loss in his early 30’s. In his initial consultation at the clinic, he was deemed a good surgical candidate. The pandemic may have influenced his plans but after his first visit he came back a couple of times more to meet with Dr. Hasson and obtain additional information to help with his decision. By his 3rd visit, his hair loss was then to the point where he was ready to get something done. Initially, the frontal zone needed work but 4 years after that first visit, enough of the loss now extended into the mid scalp and the original 2,500 -3,000 grafts would not be sufficient. In order to properly restore the frontal zone and necessary areas of the mid-scalp, closer to 4,000 grafts would be required and FUE was the preferred method of extraction. Day 1 consisted of 2,013 grafts and day 2 required 2,024 for a total of 4,037. single hair grafts totaled 300, 2,711 were double hair grafts and 1,026 were 3-4 hair grafts. These photos were taken approximately 13 months post-op.
