Satya Counselling: Nicole Paley, MA, Registered Clinical Counsellor #3124 Nicole Paley, MA, BEd, RCC--Registered Clinical Counsellor I am a humanist, therapist, lover of words and poet.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor in good standing with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. I hold a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology and Bachelor of Education from the University of British Columbia. Using an intuitive approach and influenced by many other paradigms, I work in a non-judgmental, creative way with clients to build and strengthen their self-knowledge and self-compassion while working on specific problem areas towards meeting client’s counselling goals. The most important element of therapy for me is creating a supportive, compassionate relational environment for clients where they feel both comforted and encouraged to achieve what they strive for. I have extensive experience working with individuals, couples and families dealing with grief and loss issues related to death, illness and relationship distress and breakups; people struggling with body/self image and eating disorders; lack of assertiveness; attachment problems; sexuality issues; as well as depression and anxiety. I work well with people who identify any way in terms of gender and sexual orientation.
